ON THE ROAD IN THE USA

The XJ2 Crew completed the 2018 USA Goodwill Tour, visiting 27 States and exploring the fun and interesting local culture. Johan also returned to the Seattle area in the Summer of 2019 and shared his personal travel experiences. They took photos and are in the process of producing Mandarin-language videos to share family-friendly experiences with Chinese-speaking people in Asia.

ON THE ROAD IN CHIAYI COUNTY

Chiayi County is in the Southeast part of Taiwan, just north of Tainan City. Chiayi County is administered separately from Chiayi City. In the Western part of the county, you can find sleepy towns dominated by traditional temple culture. In the Eastern part of the county, you can enjoy the majestic beauty of Mt. Ali and the surrounding mountain landscapes.

ON THE ROAD IN KAOHSIUNG

Kaohsiung City is a metropolitan area situated in the southwestern corner of Taiwan. One of Taiwan's largest municipalities, Kaohsiung County and Kaohsiung City merged to become one large administrative area with about 2.7 million residents. Kaohsiung features a large port city, which is quickly transforming into a modern, green city and international travel destination. It also includes mountains, where you can find undisturbed wildlife, hot springs, outdoor activities, and indigenous people. There is much to do and see in this corner of Taiwan.

Tainan City is Taiwan's cultural capital, and it was the center of Dutch culture in the 17th century. There is much to explore in terms of culture and history, but the city is also well-known for its food specialties. The mountains to the East offer beautiful scenery and wildlife, and the ocean to the West offers other scenic sunsets. ON THE ROAD IN TAITUNG

Taitung County is a pristine area in the Southeast corner of Taiwan. It features scenic beauty that is difficult to be beat anywhere. The blue Pacific Ocean meets clean beaches and mountain cliffs. Indigenous tribal villages dot the mountainsides, where you can find subtropical flora, fauna and coffee farms. Taitung City is a slow-paced, safe place to live and enjoy life.

ON THE ROAD IN YILAN COUNTY

Yilan County is in the northeast corner of Taiwan. In between its high mountains and rugged coastline, it has fertile farmlands. Being is relatively close proximity to Taipei, Yilan County is the playground and/or destination for relaxation for countless Taipei residents. Thus, there are quite a few resorts, hotels and hot springs developed to accommodate visitors. There is something for everyone in this county of Taiwan.
